Analytics: views and submissions

See how many people viewed a funnel's landing page and how many sent its form, per published version and per day.

Who can do this

Everyone in the workspace, including viewers. Analytics are counts only, with no personal details, so every role can see them.

Open analytics

  1. Open a funnel saved in your workspace.
  2. Choose the Analytics tab.
  3. Pick a Range: Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. It starts on Last 30 days.
  4. Pick a Version: All versions, or one published version.

What the numbers mean

The tab explains its sum at the top: Conversion = accepted form submissions ÷ landing-page views. Everything is counted per published version and per day in UTC.

  • Landing-page views: visits to the funnel's landing page at its web address.
  • Accepted submissions: forms the server accepted and stored as leads. A visitor who sends the same form twice by accident counts once.
  • Conversion: accepted submissions divided by landing-page views, as a percentage, with the two numbers underneath. When there were no views, it shows — rather than 0%.

Below the totals are two tables:

  • By published version: views, submissions and Conversion (submissions ÷ views) for every version you have published. A version with no views in the range shows 0, and its conversion shows —. Use it to compare one version with another.
  • By day (UTC): one row per day, newest first, with Date, Views, Submissions and Conversion. Days with nothing show 0.

When you choose one version in Version, everything on the tab shows that version only: the totals, the version table and the daily table.

What is not counted

The tab lists what it leaves out: bots and crawlers, prefetch and preview requests, owner previews inside the app, and failed or rejected submissions.

  • The preview in the editor never counts as a view.
  • Views of the thank-you page are not counted. Only the landing page counts.
  • A form that was refused, for example because a required answer was missing, is not counted.

Your own visits to the live page do count. If you open your live page in a normal browser tab, that is a view like any other.

Things to know

  • Deleting a lead doesn't change the count. The submission stays counted; only the person's details are erased.
  • Analytics store counts only. No IP addresses, browser details or cookies are kept about visitors.
  • There are no revenue or booking figures. The tab says so: No revenue or booking figures: this funnel doesn’t take payments or bookings.
  • There is no visitor-level data and no traffic sources or referrers.
  • If a view can't be counted for a moment, the page still loads for the visitor.

If the funnel hasn't been published

A funnel that has never been published shows This funnel hasn’t been published, so there is nothing to count yet. Every number below is zero. Publish it first. See Publish your funnel.

Limits

  • Counts only: views, accepted submissions and conversion.
  • Ranges of Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days.
  • Days are UTC days, so a day's figures may not line up with your own midnight.
  • Numbers are per funnel. There is no combined view across funnels.

If something goes wrong

  • We couldn’t load analytics: click Try again.
  • Numbers look lower than expected: remember that bots, previews and refused forms don't count.
  • Anything else: Troubleshooting.
