Who can do this
- Browser drafts: anyone. You don’t need an account.
- Importing browser drafts: an owner, admin or member of a workspace that includes FunnelCreative Commercial. Viewers don’t see the import panel.
Work without signing in
You can open the workspace without signing in. Pick a recipe on the Create screen and FunnelCreative makes a browser draft: a funnel saved in this browser only. The sidebar shows Your creative space, and My funnels says Your drafts are saved in this browser, ready when you are.
Browser drafts save as you type. The editor heading shows Saved on this device and Unpublished draft.
What you can do in a browser draft
- Edit the basics on the Page design tab: Funnel name, Business name, Headline, Introduction, Button text, Page style and Your original brief.
- Preview the page on a desktop or phone view.
- Confirm your facts on the Business facts tab. They are saved with the draft in this browser.
- Look at the recipe’s planned journey on the Funnel journey tab.
- Read the recipe’s sample email drafts on the Email drafts tab. Each is marked Sample draft and Draft only · no email is sent. You can’t edit them until the funnel is in a workspace.
What you can’t do in a browser draft
- Edit sections other than the basics, edit the form, or add images.
- Use undo, redo or version history.
- Publish, collect leads or see analytics.
- Write with AI. The Write with AI panel says AI writing works on funnels saved to your workspace. AI writing isn’t switched on yet: you write and edit the copy yourself.
Forms in the preview never collect anything. As the help panel says, Forms in the editor preview don’t collect details; only a published page does.
To do any of these, sign in and import the draft into a workspace (see below).
If this browser can’t save
Some browsers, such as a private window, block saving. FunnelCreative then shows Changes stay open here, but this browser can’t save them. Keep this tab open to retain your work. The editor heading shows Changes in this tab instead of Saved on this device. Your work is lost when you close the tab.
The Launch setup preview
On a browser draft, the Launch setup tab is a preview headed A good launch starts here. It shows:
- Landing-page draft, marked Available.
- Business facts: confirmed, or Still needed: with the facts that are missing and a Confirm facts button.
- A list of what the recipe’s full journey would need, each marked Required or Optional.
- Publishing works on workspace funnels., with a note that publishing, lead collection and AI writing aren’t available for a draft saved in this browser.
The list of needs describes the recipe’s whole planned journey, not features you can use. Items such as Checkout & orders, Course platform or Email delivery are not part of FunnelCreative: they are steps you would handle in your own tools. See Planned steps.
Import your browser drafts
When you sign in, you can move your browser drafts into your workspace. Nothing moves until you ask, and the copies in your browser are never deleted.
- Sign in, then open My funnels. If this browser holds drafts, a panel shows how many (for example “2 drafts in this browser”) and says They’re saved on this device only. Import them into <workspace> to keep them with your account. Your browser copies stay.
- Click Import my browser drafts. While FunnelCreative checks, you see Checking your drafts….
- A preview lists every draft with what would happen to it. Nothing has been imported yet. Each draft is marked:
- Will be imported: it is new to this workspace.
- Already in your workspace: you imported it before. The note says Same as the imported copy. or Changed since it was imported; the workspace copy was kept.
- Can’t be imported: the note gives the reason.
- Click Import N drafts to go ahead, or Not now to stop. If there is nothing new, the button reads Nothing new to import.
- While it works, the panel says Importing… keep this tab open.
- The panel changes to Import finished and lists each draft again. Imported drafts say Now in your workspace., or Confirmed facts came too. when the draft’s facts came with it. Click Open next to an imported draft, or one that was already in your workspace, to open it there. A draft marked Can’t be imported has no Open button.
- Click Done.
You can also start an import from inside a browser draft. When you are signed in, the editor says This draft is saved in this browser only. with a link, Import it into your workspace, which takes you to My funnels.
What an import does
- It creates a workspace funnel from each draft, with the same name, business name, brief, copy and page style.
- Facts travel with the draft and keep their state. Only confirmed facts count, and a confirmed promised next step sets the thank-you page.
- It never publishes anything and never writes any copy.
- The browser copies stay in this browser. Importing the same draft again doesn’t make a second copy.
- If your connection drops during an import, try again. FunnelCreative repeats the first answer instead of importing twice.
Limits
- A browser holds at most 50 browser drafts.
- Browser drafts are saved only in the browser you made them in. Another browser or device can’t see them.
- Imported funnels count toward the funnels your workspace can store. For your workspace, see the Stored drafts figure on your Plan card (Settings → Brand & presets → Plan). A draft that doesn’t fit is marked Can’t be imported with the reason.
If something goes wrong
- Import didn’t run: the panel shows the reason. Click Import my browser drafts to try again.
- Confirm its facts again in the workspace. The draft was imported, but its facts didn’t come with it. Open it and confirm them on the Business facts tab.
- This browser has 50 drafts. Open one from My funnels to keep creating. Import or reuse an existing draft.
