FunnelCreative draws every published page from the same set of building blocks, so the accessibility work below applies to every funnel, in every page style, on every plan. It is not a compliance statement or a certification. The last sections of this page say plainly what has been tested and what hasn’t.
What every published page does
Structure and headings
- Each page declares its language as English.
- Each page has exactly one main heading: the headline at the top of the landing page, or the headline of the thank-you message.
- Section headings sit one level below it, and item titles (such as each benefit or question) one level below that. Heading levels never skip. When you leave a section heading empty, most sections keep a heading for screen readers, hidden from view, so the order holds. Questions shows “Frequently asked questions” instead, and a Text section without a heading has none, so give it a heading if it starts a new topic.
- Text is plain text. You can’t add markup that breaks the page structure.
Forms
- Every question has a visible label. Optional questions are marked (optional).
- Help text and error messages are linked to their question, so screen readers read them with it.
- A question with a problem is marked as invalid, and its message starts with “Error:” for screen reader users.
- When a visitor sends a form with problems, a summary headed There is a problem appears and links to each question that needs fixing.
- Consent is a separate tick box with its own label. It is never ticked in advance.
- Error messages say what to do, for example Enter an email address like
name@example.com. or Tick the box to agree before you send your details. - On the thank-you page, your next steps sit in a numbered list under What happens next.
Keyboard, focus and motion
- Visitors can fill in and send your form with a keyboard alone.
- The element with keyboard focus has a clear, thick outline.
- Pages have no animations. Smooth scrolling happens only when the visitor hasn’t asked their device to reduce motion.
Colour and layout
- The FunnelCreative look is checked for readable contrast in all three page styles.
- With Pro, a brand kit can’t be saved with colours below the WCAG AA contrast standard. Every text colour and background colour pair the page styles draw is checked, and form field borders are checked too. See Brand kits, the badge and presets.
- Pages fit screens from 320 px to 1440 px wide without sideways scrolling or cut-off text.
What you do as the page owner
The page is built accessibly, but some things only you can provide.
- Write an Image description for every image that carries meaning. Describe what it shows in one plain sentence. Leave it empty if the image is only decoration, so screen readers skip it. See Add images and files.
- Write clear form questions. Each Question is the label people and screen readers use, so make it say exactly what you are asking, for example “What would you like to ask about?” rather than “Details”.
- Use Help text for anything a visitor needs to know to answer, such as the format you want.
- Keep required questions to the ones you need. Untick Required for the rest.
- Write button text that makes sense on its own, such as “Request a quote” rather than “Click here”.
- Write headings that describe the section, so people who jump from heading to heading can find their way.
What has been tested
These checks run automatically against FunnelCreative:
- An automated accessibility checker (axe-core) finds no serious or critical issue on published pages in all three page styles, both the landing page and the thank-you page, and on every app screen.
- Every page style, for every audience and both pages, holds its layout at 320, 375, 768, 1024 and 1440 px wide, with no sideways scrolling, cut-off text or low-contrast text.
- The app screens have no sideways scrolling at 320 px wide and at 200% zoom.
- The core task works with a keyboard alone: creating a funnel, editing it, publishing it, a visitor filling in and sending the live form, and the owner opening the lead. Every stop shows a visible focus outline.
- With reduced motion switched on, nothing on the app screens animates.
- Brand kit previews pass the contrast check, including a deliberately pale kit after its suggested fix.
What hasn’t been tested yet
Be aware of these gaps:
- No one using a screen reader or other assistive technology has tried FunnelCreative. We haven’t checked by ear whether status messages are announced well.
- Nothing has been tested on a real phone with touch or switch access.
- Real browser zoom, operating-system text size and high-contrast or forced-colours modes haven’t been checked.
- The tests used sample content and sample brand kits, not real owners’ pages.
- No one has studied whether owners understand every message in the app.
No compliance claim
FunnelCreative doesn’t claim that published pages meet any accessibility law, standard or certification. The checks above lower the risk of common problems. They don’t replace testing with the people who will use your page. If accessibility matters for your audience, ask people who use assistive technology to try your published page.
