How FunnelCreative works

The path from your offer to enquiries in your inbox: recipe, confirmed facts, page, published version, lead inbox, and the My funnels dashboard that tracks it all.

The idea in one line

You bring an offer. FunnelCreative gives you a page with a form that collects enquiries, puts an exact version of that page on a FunnelCreative web address, and keeps every enquiry in your lead inbox.

From offer to enquiry, step by step

  1. Your offer. You describe what you offer and who it is for. This description is your brief. It helps FunnelCreative suggest a starting point, and it is kept with the funnel as Your original brief.
  2. A recipe. You pick one of 10 recipes. A recipe sets where you start: the page’s structure, its sample copy, its page style and its form. It also sets which promises the thank-you page can make. You can change the copy, the page style and the form’s questions afterwards. See Recipes, audiences and page styles.
  3. Confirmed facts. You confirm three facts only you know: who the page is for, what you offer, and what happens after someone fills in the form. Only facts you confirm count. See Business facts, confirmation and placeholders.
  4. The page. You edit the page in the Page design tab: its sections, its form and its page style. The preview shows it as visitors will see it.
  5. A published version. In Launch setup you choose a web address and publish. FunnelCreative puts that exact saved version on the address. Nothing you edit later reaches visitors until you publish again.
  6. Enquiries. Visitors fill in the form and tick the consent box. The thank-you page states the promise you confirmed, word for word. Each enquiry is stored as a lead.
  7. Your lead inbox. Leads arrive in the funnel’s Leads tab and in All leads. You can add notes, set a status and export a CSV file. The Analytics tab counts page views and accepted submissions.
  8. Follow-up, in your own tools. Each funnel has follow-up email drafts in the Email drafts tab. You copy them into your own email tool and send them yourself. FunnelCreative doesn’t send email.

AI writing isn’t switched on for customers yet. You write and edit every word yourself, and nothing on your page changes without you. AI drafting from your confirmed facts switches on once its quality evaluation passes.

Leads are never sent to AI providers.

What a funnel collects

Every funnel collects an enquiry: interest, a waitlist sign-up, a demo request, an application, a quote request, a general enquiry or a request for a file. It doesn’t take payments, book appointments, enrol anyone, create accounts or trials, or send email. The thank-you page says what happened and what didn’t, for example “Nothing has been bought or booked.” See What your funnel collects.

Workspace funnels and browser drafts

There are two places a funnel can live.

You get workspace funnels when you are signed in to a workspace that includes FunnelCreative Commercial. Without an account, or signed in to a workspace without FunnelCreative Commercial or Campaign Vault, new funnels are browser drafts. With Campaign Vault alone, you install packs instead of starting from a recipe. You can import browser drafts into a workspace later. See Working without signing in, and importing browser drafts.

Draft and live

  • A funnel that hasn’t been published is a draft. The editor heading says Unpublished draft for a browser draft, and the status badge says Draft for a workspace funnel that has never gone live.
  • A published funnel is live. Visitors see the exact version you published, and its form collects enquiries.
  • When you edit a live funnel, you are editing a newer draft. Visitors keep seeing the published version until you publish again. The card in My funnels then says NEWER DRAFT.
  • You can take a live funnel down, or put an earlier published version back. See Update, roll back or take down a live funnel.

Versions

A workspace funnel saves by itself as you work. Every saved change becomes a numbered version. You can undo, look back through the version history and restore an earlier version as a new draft. Publishing always names the version that goes live, for example Publish version N. See Undo, version history and save conflicts.

Plans

FunnelCreative Commercial lets you create funnels from recipes, edit them, publish them to a FunnelCreative web address and work with your leads. Its published pages carry a small Made with FunnelCreative note. Pro builds on Commercial: it adds brand kits, presets, the option to remove that note and higher allowances for live funnels, stored funnels and AI units (AI units have no use until AI writing is switched on), and it needs Commercial to work. Campaign Vault adds 25 finished campaign packs that you install and edit as funnels; publishing them needs Commercial. Plans belong to a workspace, so everyone in the workspace works under its plan. See Plans and what each includes.

My funnels

My funnels is your dashboard. Open it from the sidebar, or go to My funnels. The line under the heading tells you where your funnels are saved, for example Your drafts are saved in this browser, ready when you are. when you aren’t signed in.

The tiles

When you are signed in and your workspace has at least one funnel, a row of tiles sits above your funnels:

  • Funnels: how many are live, how many are drafts and, when something waits for you, how many need attention.
  • Leads, last N days: how many enquiries arrived across the workspace in the last 7 days.
  • AI units this month: how many AI units the workspace has used out of its allowance, and how many are on hold for a job that hasn’t finished. It says No AI allowance on this workspace when there is none. AI writing isn’t switched on yet: you write and edit the copy yourself. For your allowance, see the AI units a month figure on your Plan card (Settings → Brand & presets → Plan).

If the leads or AI-units figure couldn’t be read, that tile says Couldn’t load instead of showing a zero. A note under the tiles offers Try again.

The funnel cards

Each funnel has a card with a preview of its own page, its name, its recipe and when it was last edited. The status line on the card reads:

  • UNPUBLISHED DRAFT: nothing is live.
  • LIVE: a version is live.
  • NEWER DRAFT: added to LIVE when you have saved changes that aren’t published yet.
  • NEEDS ATTENTION: something waits for you, for example a publish that didn’t finish. The card says what to do.

A card also shows how many leads the funnel received in the last 7 days, when there were any. Click a card to open the funnel in the editor.

With no funnels yet, the page says A little empty. A lot of potential. Click Create your first funnel to start.

Funnels and All leads

When you are signed in, two links under the heading let you show Funnels (your funnel cards) or All leads (every enquiry from every funnel in this workspace). Screen readers announce the pair as “Show”. Viewers can’t see leads. See Your lead inbox and CSV export.

If this browser holds drafts made without signing in, My funnels also offers to import them. See Import your browser drafts.
