# Using FunnelCreative with your AI assistant

> Give your own AI assistant the FunnelCreative guide and a filled-in brief, then check what it writes before you paste it into your funnel.

Applies to: Everyone · Audience: humans
Web page: https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/use-with-your-ai-assistant

You can use any AI assistant you already have to help you plan and word your funnel. This page shows you how to set it up so its suggestions fit what FunnelCreative can do, and what to check before anything goes on your page.

This page is about your own assistant, outside FunnelCreative. For FunnelCreative’s own AI writing, see [Writing your copy (and AI writing)](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/write-with-ai.md).

## Before you start

- Have your offer clear in your head: who it is for, what you are offering, and what should happen after someone fills in your form.
- Know which results, credentials or reviews you can actually prove. If you have none, that is fine. Say so.
- Open FunnelCreative in another tab, so you can copy and paste between the two.

## Give your assistant the FunnelCreative guide

Your assistant does its best work when it knows what FunnelCreative can and can’t do. FunnelCreative publishes its help in a form assistants can read.

1. If your assistant can open web addresses, give it the address of this help site’s [llms.txt](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/llms.txt) file. It lists every help page as plain text, starting with the AI assistant guide.
2. If it can’t open web addresses, open the [AI assistant guide](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/ai-assistant-guide.md). At the bottom of the page, choose “View this page as Markdown”. Copy all of that text and paste it into your chat.
3. Tell your assistant: “Follow this guide whenever you help me with FunnelCreative.”

The whole help site is also available as one long text file, [llms-full.txt](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/llms-full.txt), for assistants that can read a lot at once.

## Fill in the brief

Copy the brief below, fill in each line in your own words, and paste it into your chat after the guide. It includes every question on the **Business facts** tab, so those answers are ready to confirm there, plus a few more that help your assistant write in your voice.

```text
FUNNELCREATIVE BRIEF
Business name:
Who this is for (the people you want to reach, in your own words):
What you’re offering (one or two sentences a visitor would recognise):
What happens after someone fills in the form (pick exactly one; each recipe offers only some of these, see the recipe reference):
- Interest registered: Your interest has been registered. Nothing has been bought or booked.
- On the waitlist: You have joined the waitlist. No account or trial has been created.
- Request received: Your demo request has been received. No time has been booked yet.
- Application received: Your application has been received and will be reviewed. Nothing has been booked or paid for.
- Request received: Your quote request has been received. This is not a booking or an order.
- Enquiry received: Your enquiry has been received. Nothing has been booked or paid for.
- Request received: Your request has been received. Nothing has been bought or booked.
- Registration received: Your registration has been received. The host sends the joining details. Put the date and time in your calendar now; this page doesn't send reminders.
What I want to collect (for example: waitlist sign-ups, quote requests, applications, enquiries):
Recipe, if I know it (optional; these recipes have a form and collect enquiries):
- Webinar to course
- Appointment requests
- Quote requests
- Consultation enquiries
- Membership enquiries
- Table enquiries
- Waitlist sign-ups
Things I already have (logo, photos, a guide, a video):
Results or credentials I can prove (or "none"):
Tone (for example: warm, plain, expert):
Words or promises to avoid:
Deadline, if there is a real one (or "none"):
NOTES FOR MY AI ASSISTANT
- Before you write anything, read FunnelCreative's llms.txt (at /llms.txt on the FunnelCreative site) and follow its AI assistant guide.
- Use only the facts in this brief. Never invent results, testimonials, reviews, numbers, prices, dates, credentials or guarantees.
- Where a fact you need is missing, write [ask me] instead of guessing.
- Keep every piece of copy within the field limits listed in the AI assistant guide.
- Every button asks for the enquiry itself, in a few words, for example "Join the waitlist" or "Request a quote".
- Never write that anything was bought, booked, started or sent: the form only collects an enquiry.
- Only mention a deadline if the brief gives a real one.
- Plain text only: no HTML, links, emoji or merge tokens in double curly brackets.
```

You can also open the brief on its own as a [plain-text file](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/brief-template.txt).

Tips for a strong brief:

- Describe your audience the way they would describe themselves: “first-time founders with a side project”, not “everyone”.
- Pick one promised next step. Your thank-you page states it word for word, so the rest of your copy should match it. See [What your funnel collects](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/enquiries-not-sales.md).
- Write “none” rather than leaving the proof line empty. That tells your assistant not to fill the gap with something made up.
- If you don’t know which recipe fits, leave that line empty and ask your assistant to suggest one. The [recipe reference](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/recipes.md) lists every recipe and what its form collects.

## What to ask for

Useful requests once your assistant has the guide and your brief:

- “Which recipe fits my brief, and why?” Then choose it yourself on the Create screen. See [Create a funnel from your offer](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/create-a-funnel.md).
- “Help me answer the three **Business facts** questions: **Who is this for?**, **What are you offering?** and **What happens after someone fills in the form?**” See [Confirm your business facts](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/confirm-your-facts.md).
- “Write a **Headline**, **Introduction** and **Button text** for the **Top of page** section, within the field limits.”
- “Write three benefits for the **Benefits** section: a short title and one or two sentences each.”
- “If my funnel has a **Questions** section (Campaign Vault packs do), list the questions my visitors ask most, with short answers.”
- “Rewrite my follow-up email drafts in my tone. Keep them as plain drafts I send myself.” See [Follow-up email drafts](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/email-drafts.md).
- “Check this copy against the honesty rules in the guide and tell me anything that would stop the page from publishing.”

Ask for one section at a time. It is easier to check, and easier to paste into the right field.

## Check before you paste

Your assistant can make mistakes. You are the one who knows your business, so read everything it gives you before it goes into FunnelCreative.

- Every fact is true and is one you would confirm on **Business facts**. Remove anything your assistant guessed.
- There is no made-up proof: no testimonials, reviews, ratings, client names, numbers, results, awards or credentials you can’t back up.
- There is one promise, and it matches your promised next step.
- Buttons ask for the enquiry itself, such as “Join the waitlist” or “Request a quote”. Words that suggest buying, booking or getting access straight away stop the page from publishing.
- Nothing says a payment, booking, enrolment, account, trial or email has happened. Your form only collects an enquiry.
- There is no urgency unless your deadline is real.
- Page copy is plain text. Fields on your page don’t take links, code or formatting. Email drafts accept a small set of simple formatting; see [Follow-up email drafts](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/email-drafts.md).
- There are no tokens in double curly brackets, such as `{{first_name}}`. FunnelCreative doesn’t fill them in, and they stop your funnel from publishing.
- Each piece fits its field. Each field stops at its limit, so if you paste text that is too long, the end is cut off. Check the end of each field after you paste. See [Edit your page](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/edit-your-page.md#refused-edits).

## Keep your leads out of the chat

Never paste your leads’ names, email addresses or answers into an AI chat. They are your visitors’ personal details.

FunnelCreative never sends your leads to AI providers. Keep it that way on your side too: if you want help with a reply, describe the situation in general terms instead. See [Privacy and your leads](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/privacy-and-your-leads.md).

## The honesty checks still run

FunnelCreative checks parts of your page and email drafts before it publishes. The top of the page, the offer, calls to action, form headings, the thank-you page, the consent statement and the email text are checked for wording that says something was bought, booked or started, and every field is checked for placeholders. If one of those checks fails, **Launch setup** lists it with a button that takes you to the fix. See [Honesty checks: why some words stop a page from publishing](https://staging.funnelcreative.com/docs/honesty-checks.md).

Other sections, such as **Benefits** and **Questions**, aren’t checked for claims, and no check can tell whether a fact is true. Passing the checks doesn’t mean the copy is right: read every line yourself.
